And now, a subliminal word from our sponsors

So today was all right. Work was a little bit frustrating because I didn't QUITE get enough done, but hopefully that'll be ok. I was annoyed when I got in the car and then I turned on the radio and everything was better. The song "99 Red Balloons" was on the radio. In German. I think I really only know the song from SingStar (one of those karaoke console games), but it's in English on the game. At first I couldn't understand what they were singing but I recognized the music. Then I thought, "hmm this is that 99 Red Balloons song, isn't it? They did that in German, too, right?" I just now realized that I have no reason whatsoever for thinking that, other than the fact that some part of my brain must have realized it was German. Anyway, for those that don't know I took German from 7th grade until college and minored in it, so once I realized it was German and started understanding it I got a nice cheering up, as random things like that are wont to do.

Also, this is pretty cool. It's a little video about subliminal persuasion and it shows how the most random things can leave a mark that we didn't even register at the time.
